Flu vaccines are now available at our office. (EXCEPTION: Patients with HUMANA MEDICARE INSURANCES - vaccinations are not covered at BFP so you will need to go to your local pharmacy instead. We will update you if the situation changes)
Below you will find some useful information regarding the flu vaccine adapted from the CDC. The best time to get your flu vaccine is before flu season begins in our community --- which is NOW! It takes approximately two weeks to develop antibodies and provide protection against the flu virus. Put on your agenda to get done at your earliest convenience.
No appointment necessary! You may walk-in anytime during the following hours:
· Monday through Friday – 8:00 to 11:45 a.m., 1:00 to 5:00 pm
· Saturday – 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Please note we are unable to accommodate nurse visits for immunizations during the lunch hour. Thank you for your understanding.
